At MGT Insurance, I led UX and product design for commercial insurance workflows focused on quoting, risk review, operational tooling, and automation. The work centered on turning complex insurance processes into clearer, more efficient product experiences for agents, underwriters, operators, and internal teams. I designed data-heavy workflows, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces that helped simplify decision-making, improve information quality, reduce manual friction, and create stronger confidence across high-stakes insurance operations.
PROCESS SUMMARY
My design process at MGT Insurance focused on modernizing commercial insurance quoting, underwriting, intake, and policy workflows through AI-assisted and automation-ready product experiences. I mapped complex quote-to-bind journeys, identified manual re-entry points, clarified user roles and decision moments, and designed high-fidelity workflows across business information review, document extraction, quote readiness, coverage selection, carrier comparison, payment, and policy details. The work balanced speed and automation with the trust, transparency, and control required in high-stakes insurance decisions.
I applied AI-era product design principles around human-in-the-loop review, confidence indicators, source transparency, exception states, auditability, and guided decision support. Using Figma for product flows, interface design, prototypes, reusable patterns, and design-system direction, I created experiences that helped translate fragmented insurance operations into clearer, more scalable SaaS workflows. This work demonstrates my ability to partner across product, engineering, and business teams to shape AI-native insurance tools that reduce friction, improve submission quality, and help users move through quote-to-bind workflows with greater confidence.
